PhD Candidate, Agricultural Economics (expected Dec 2026)
University of Nebraska–Lincoln
I work in agricultural and applied economics, with a focus on agribusiness and the environment. My dissertation estimates the cost of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Nebraska corn and soybean production and the market and welfare effects of using corn ethanol for sustainable aviation fuel. I have also estimated the carbon intensity of crops and feedstuffs in Nebraska, and at Cepea (University of São Paulo) I measure the GDP and labor market of Brazilian agribusiness.
